Victor grew up in the slums of the heavy industrial sectors of England. His family has always worked as blue coller and manual laborers for as long as anyone can remember. As such, Victor has grown up in rough surroundings, and cares little for "sophistication" and "culture". As far as he's concerned, opera is just a bunch of people yelling in a foreign language, and The Venus de Milo is "Some poor, hot bird that got her arms nicked"
Despite his coarse mannerisms, Victor is a very talented machinist, working in one of the larger factories of London. He is fascinated with many of the steam-driven technologies, and has managed to keep his skills up to date.
Victor's current situation arose due to his dislike of one of the plant's foremans, and a night with his mates that included one pint too many. This foreman in particular never terribly friendly with any of the workers, and would frequently lock himself away in his office, which would frequently be the source of strange lights, and odd noises. The office itself was an oddity for a mere foreman to have. Even the floor supervisor only had a desk, and as far as Victor was concerned, the supervisor treated the men better, and worked harder than 5 of the foreman.
One Friday, Victor recieved a notice that he was to clean up his tools and be out of the plant by noon. The reason given was "lack of work ethic". Victor could not understand this at all. He was one of the hardest workers on the floor and he knew it. His co-workers all knew it, and even higher management had recognized this on several occaisons. The termination notice still stood, and he couldn't find anyone higher up the chain that would back him up. Deeply depressed, Victor packed up his tools, and headed out. He met up with his friends afterwards, so he could drown his sorrows in drink.
At first Victor felt sorry for himself, but the depression soon led to anger as the drinks flowed. He eventually found out that the despised foreman was the one who made the decision. His judgement still badly compromised, Victor decided to get back at him. He knew the foreman would frequently stay late, so Victor decided to have a little "chat" with him.
